ARREST OF TWO SUSPECTS FOR CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, THEFT, AND BEING IN POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
On November 1, 2025, at about 2:00 PM, a concerned citizen reported to the Darazo Divisional Police Headquarters that earlier that day, around 9:00 AM, two unknown individuals approached him at his garage in Kari village, inquiring about motorcycle dealers. The two men, who were riding red Boxer Bajaj motorcycles, exhibited suspicious behavior.
Upon receiving this information, a team of detectives, led by Divisional Police Officer (DPO) SP Auwalu Ilu, promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended the two individuals.
During questioning, the suspects were identified as 25-year-old Nura Yau and 25-year-old Bayero Isah, both residents of Akuyam village, Misau LGA. They confessed to stolen the motorcycles from various locations, including Akuyam village on September 30, 2025, and Juma’at Mosque in Darazo town.
Further investigation revealed that Auwal Adamu, a 50-year-old male, is the legitimate owner of the motorcycle stolen in Darazo.
