The Forum of Special Assistants to State Governors on Youth Affairs has successfully concluded its four-day National Retreat held in Owerri, Imo State, from Tuesday, December 9 to Friday, December 12, 2025.
The retreat, hosted by the Imo State Government, brought together aides on youth affairs from across the country to deliberate on strategies for youth development and nation building.
During the event, Hauwa Hassan Musa, Special Assistant to the Governor of Bauchi State on Youth Affairs, was elected National Secretary of the Forum. She also received an Award of Exceptional Service in recognition of her commitment and contributions throughout the retreat.
Speaking after her election, Musa expressed gratitude to the youth of Bauchi State for their unwavering support and solidarity. She emphasized that the retreat provided a platform for sharing ideas, comparing notes, and strengthening collaboration among states in advancing youth empowerment.
The Forum reaffirmed its dedication to promoting policies and initiatives that will enhance opportunities for young people across Nigeria.
