Security, Service, and Integrity: Bauchi PDP Caucus Defends Governor Bala Mohammed

By, Abdulwahab Muhammad SSA Communication to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State
As political tensions rise, the Bauchi PDP Caucus has stepped forward to defend Governor Bala Mohammed against terrorism allegations. Their statement highlights his record of peace, development, and integrity.
In the wake of recent terrorism allegations against Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Bauchi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caucus in the House of Representatives has issued a strong statement of solidarity.
The caucus described the allegations as spurious and politically motivated, stressing that Governor Bala Mohammed’s record in office stands in sharp contrast to such claims. Over the past six years, Bauchi has remained one of the most stable states in Northern Nigeria, despite its proximity to insecurity-ravaged regions like Zamfara and Katsina.
Under his leadership, Bauchi has successfully contained banditry and avoided the devastating impact of Boko Haram insurgency that has plagued much of the North-East. This, the caucus argues, is no accident but the result of deliberate policies, effective collaboration with security agencies, and a refusal to allow criminal elements any foothold in the state.
Governor Bala lMohammed’s administration has recorded significant developmental strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and social welfare. These achievements, according to the caucus, speak louder than politically charged narratives and confirm his commitment to inclusive growth and people-oriented governance.
The caucus urged Nigerians to remain calm, reject sensationalism, and respect due process, expressing confidence that Governor Bala Mohammed’s integrity and service will ultimately stand vindicated.
