Wailo, Bauchi State – The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch A 2026 swearing-in ceremony at the Wailo Orientation Camp, Ganjuwa Local Government Area, was marked by a strong message of encouragement and support from the Bauchi State Government.
Representing His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, addressed corps members during the opening ceremony. He praised their patriotism, loyalty, and commitment to national service, stressing the vital role of Nigerian youth in driving national development.
The Camp Coordinator welcomed the Honourable Commissioner warmly, noting that corps members have quickly adapted to the lifestyle of the Wailo camp and Bauchi State in general. He described Governor Mohammed as a father figure to the corps members, highlighting the administration’s consistent support for the NYSC scheme.
Delivering the Governor’s message, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman reaffirmed Bauchi State’s commitment to providing a secure and conducive environment for corps members. Governor Mohammed urged them to uphold the values of unity, discipline, and hard work throughout their service year, assuring that his administration will continue to strengthen the NYSC program in the state.
