Giade, Bauchi State – The Emir of Giade, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Abdulkadir, has conferred the prestigious traditional title of Uban Doman Giade on the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau.
The conferment ceremony followed the presentation of the nomination letter by the Chairman of Giade Local Government, Sa’in Giade. The Emir explained that the honor was bestowed in recognition of the Deputy Governor’s outstanding contributions to the development of Bauchi State and his unwavering support for traditional institutions and community initiatives.
In his acceptance remarks, Rt. Hon. Jatau expressed profound gratitude to the Emir and the Giade Emirate Council for the recognition. He described the title as a “great responsibility” and pledged to continue working tirelessly to promote progress, peace, and unity in Giade Emirate and across Bauchi State.
The Deputy Governor also offered prayers for blessings and lasting peace in the emirate, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening collaboration between government and traditional institutions.
