Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, FNIPR, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Zakari, describing him as a man of integrity, humility, and unwavering dedication to public service.
Alhaji Adamu Zakari’s career was marked by decades of commitment to grassroots governance and education. He served as:
Executive Chairman of Itas/Gadau Local Government Area
Honourable Commissioner in Bauchi State
Special Adviser to the Governor on Education until his passing
His contributions to the development of education and local governance remain enduring legacies that will continue to inspire future generations.
In his condolence message, Governor Bala Mohammed noted:
“Bauchi State has lost a dependable leader and a selfless servant. Alhaji Adamu Zakari devoted his life to the service of his people and the advancement of our state. His wisdom and commitment will be greatly missed.”
