Governor Bala Mohammed Hosts Yusuf Buhari on Condolence Visit Over the Passing of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, received Yusuf Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, on a condolence visit following the passing of the renowned Islamic scholar, the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
The visit took place at the Governor’s residence in Bauchi and came shortly after Yusuf Buhari paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi. He was accompanied by relatives and close associates, reflecting a strong show of sympathy, solidarity, and support for the bereaved family and the people of Bauchi State.
During the visit, Yusuf Buhari conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Buhari family to Governor Bala Mohammed and the people of Bauchi State. He described the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi as a towering religious figure and a distinguished Islamic leader whose life was marked by scholarship, humility, and selfless service to Islam and humanity.
He noted that the late scholar’s contributions to Islamic education, moral guidance, and spiritual development transcended generations and national boundaries, earning him widespread respect and recognition.
In his remarks, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed appreciation for the condolence visit and the show of solidarity by the Buhari family. He said the outpouring of condolence messages from across the country is a clear testament to the respect, influence, and enduring legacy left behind by the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
The Governor prayed that Almighty Allah grants the late Islamic scholar eternal rest, forgives his shortcomings, and grants patience and strength to his family, followers, and the entire Muslim Ummah.
