Alkaleri, Bauchi State – Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Maina Mohammed Gidado of Alkaleri Local Government Area, describing his passing as a great loss to the community and the state.
The Governor, accompanied by senior government officials, visited the Palace of the District Head of Alkaleri where he offered prayers for the deceased, asking Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and to give the family the strength to bear the loss.
Governor Mohammed praised the late Alhaji Maina Mohammed Gidado as a man of integrity and strong community values, noting that his contributions to Alkaleri and Bauchi State will be remembered.
In his remarks, the District Head of Alkaleri, Alhaji Bala Mohammed Gidado, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the condolence visit. He commended the Governor’s leadership and recalled his efforts in upgrading Alkaleri from a village head to a district head, as well as initiating developmental projects such as water reticulation in the area.
