NO DEFECTION, NO DISTRACTION: BALA MOHAMMED REAFFIRMS PDP LOYALTY AT STRATEGIC BAUCHI IFTAR

His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammed, Governor of Bauchi State, on Monday hosted key stakeholders from ten Local Government Areas of the state for a strategic Iftar gathering aimed at strengthening unity, fostering dialogue, and deepening reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.
The stakeholders were drawn from Darazo, Misau, Dambam, Zaki, Gamawa, Giade, Shira, Jama’are, Itas/Gadau, and Katagum LGAs, representing a broad spectrum of political leaders, elders, party faithful, and community influencers.
Call for Calm, Unity and Political Stability
In his remarks, Governor Bala Mohammed urged political actors and citizens across the state to remain calm, composed, and law-abiding amidst prevailing political developments. He emphasized that peace, stability, and unity remain critical to sustaining the progress achieved in Bauchi State.
The Governor used the occasion to firmly reaffirm his loyalty to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stating unequivocally that he remains committed to the party and has no intention of decamping to any other political platform.
He called on party members, leaders, and stakeholders to remain united, focused, and undistracted by rumours or speculation, stressing that the development of Bauchi State must remain the collective priority of all.
Prayers for Peace and Continued Development
The Iftar gathering concluded with special prayers for sustained peace, political stability, and continued growth of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
The event underscores Governor Bala Mohammed’s continued efforts to promote inclusive leadership, political cohesion, and grassroots engagement across all parts of Bauchi State.
