Hon. Sulaiman Lalaye has launched the distribution of food items and clothing to leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi Local Government Area as part of efforts to support party members during the holy month of Ramadan.The initiative, which took place on February 6, 2026, saw the distribution of fasting food supplies to party leaders, while women within the party’s leadership structure also received clothing materials.According to Hon. Lalaye, the gesture was aimed at supporting APC leaders at the grassroots and easing the economic hardship faced by many families during the blessed month of Ramadan.He noted that Ramadan is a period that encourages charity, compassion, and community support, adding that the distribution was part of his commitment to stand with party members and the wider community during the fasting period.Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and supportive, particularly as many households face rising living costs.Hon. Sulaiman Lalaye is considered one of the emerging young political figures in Bauchi and is among the youths being encouraged by supporters to contest for a seat in the Bauchi State House of Assembly in the 2027 general elections to represent Bauchi town.
