The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, paid a Sallah homage visit to the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, at the Government House in Bauchi.Governor Makinde was accompanied by a delegation that included Henry Seriake Dickson and other associates.Speaking to journalists shortly after the visit, Governor Makinde said he was in Bauchi to extend Sallah greetings on behalf of himself and the people of Oyo State, while also expressing solidarity with Governor Bala Mohammed amid ongoing political challenges within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).He noted that difficult periods are part of leadership and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to overcoming its current challenges and emerging stronger.Governor Makinde also prayed that the sacrifices and supplications observed during the holy month of Ramadan would yield blessings, unity, and lasting prosperity for Nigeria.In his response, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a strong gesture of goodwill and political camaraderie.He commended Makinde’s steadfastness and leadership qualities, noting that his contributions continue to strengthen the PDP and support democratic development across the country.
