The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State has once again demonstrated its unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, delivering a resounding 100 percent victory for the President in the party’s presidential primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya declared that Gombe remains a stronghold of the APC and is fully prepared to deliver President Tinubu and all APC candidates to overwhelming victory in the forthcoming elections.The Governor made the declaration shortly after collating the APC presidential primary election results from the eleven local government areas of the state.Addressing party faithful and stakeholders at the APC collation centre, Governor Inuwa Yahaya commended the massive participation of APC members across the state, describing the exercise as peaceful, transparent, and a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in the APC administration.“As you can see, in my capacity as the APC Presidential Primary Collation Officer and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s coordinator for Gombe State, I have successfully collated the results from all the eleven local government areas where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr. Stanley Osifo contested for the presidential ticket,” the Governor stated.According to him, Gombe State has a total of 550,516 registered APC members, out of which President Tinubu secured an overwhelming 450,517 votes, while his opponent, Stanley Osifo, recorded zero votes.Governor Inuwa Yahaya said the outcome of the primary election sends a strong message that the people of Gombe State are united, resolute, and fully committed to the continuity of the Tinubu administration beyond 2027.He noted that the unprecedented support recorded during the exercise reflects total acceptance of President Tinubu’s leadership style and developmental strides across the country.“I am speaking not in my capacity as Governor, but as the duly appointed Collation Officer for the APC Presidential Primaries in Gombe State. I will proceed to Abuja to officially submit the results to the party’s national secretariat,” he added.The Governor used the occasion to commend APC stakeholders, electoral officials, security agencies, the media, and party supporters for ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the exercise across the state.In his remarks, the Gombe State APC Chairman, Mohammed Dantata Ndus, described the exercise as historic and a major milestone in the party’s march toward victory in the 2027 general elections.According to him, the peaceful and successful conduct of the primary election further proves that the APC in Gombe State remains united under the purposeful leadership of Governor Inuwa Yahaya.He expressed confidence that the overwhelming endorsement of President Tinubu by APC members across the state would translate into massive electoral victory for the party in 2027.The APC chairman also congratulated all party flag-bearers who emerged victorious in the primaries and appealed to those who could not secure tickets to join hands with the party leadership in the collective quest for APC’s success at the polls.The collation process was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Umar Mukhtar Gajiram, alongside heads of security agencies, election observers, and members of the media.Also present at the event were the APC governorship candidate, Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, senatorial and House of Representatives candidates, as well as senior party figures and key stakeholders
