Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has declared that he is not in competition with anyone within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisting that he was the only aspirant who stood for the position and was duly cleared.

Pantami made the statement on Thursday during a working visit to Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State, where he met with traditional rulers, community leaders, and thousands of his supporters.

Addressing the gathering, the former minister expressed gratitude to the people of Dukku for the warm reception accorded to him. He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the people in pursuit of sustainable development and improved living standards across the state.

Pantami also called on residents to continue promoting peace, unity, and mutual understanding, stressing that collective support for development-oriented initiatives remains essential for the progress of Gombe State.

Community leaders who spoke during the visit commended Pantami for maintaining a strong relationship with the people of Dukku. They described his visit as timely and inspiring, expressing confidence in his continued efforts to serve the public and contribute to the state’s development.
