As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen government communication and support media practitioners promoting the achievements of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and the Allied People’s Movement (APM), the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Mohammed Gidado, has presented another batch of brand-new mobile phones to six social media influencers and a journalist.
The presentation forms part of the monthly support initiative designed to enhance the capacity of media stakeholders involved in disseminating information on government policies, programmes and political activities.
Speaking during the presentation, Comrade Gidado disclosed that the distribution of mobile phones had now been concluded, adding that his office would shift its focus to providing financial support to members of the media family in subsequent phases of the initiative.
He urged the beneficiaries to remain committed to enlightening the public on the developmental strides recorded under the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and to mobilise support for all APM candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, social media influencer Hussaini Galawa expressed appreciation to Comrade Mukhtar Gidado and Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to empowering media practitioners.
He pledged that the beneficiaries would continue to promote government policies, programmes and achievements while contributing to effective public engagement and awareness.
