The Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency (OVCA) has extended a financial support of N500,000 to Malama Sadiya Mohammed Inuwa as part of its continued efforts to uplift vulnerable individuals and promote social welfare across the state.

Presenting the assistance at her office in Bauchi, the Executive Chairperson of the agency, Hajiya Yalwa Abubakar Balewa, popularly known as Rumfar Marayu, said the gesture reflects OVCA’s commitment to improving the lives of orphans, vulnerable children, and other disadvantaged members of society.

She explained that the intervention was specifically targeted at supporting vulnerable young women preparing for marriage by providing financial relief to help reduce the burden associated with wedding arrangements and other related responsibilities.

According to Hajiya Yalwa, the initiative aligns with the vision of the Bauchi State Government to strengthen social protection programmes and ensure that vulnerable groups are not left behind in the state’s development efforts.

She reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to sustaining humanitarian interventions, empowerment initiatives, and welfare programmes designed to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable persons across Bauchi State.

Responding, the beneficiary, Malama Sadiya Mohammed Inuwa, expressed appreciation to the OVCA leadership and the Bauchi State Government for the timely assistance.

She described the support as a significant relief and pledged to use the funds responsibly while praying for the continued success of the agency’s humanitarian activities.
